One of our most popular requests is for a food and cooking demonstration, often at food festivals. We are delighted to demonstrate cooking methods of old, cooking chicken on spits, bread over an open fire and all manner of casseroles and soups. We have found that the smell of woodsmoke combined with cooking food is a real crowd puller, and people are always amazed at what can be accomplished with such basic facilities and ingredients.
Fruit and vegetables are mainly home grown for authenticity, and we are pleased to also offer display of these
as well as different cookery utensils, herbs and spices and their uses, and much more.
